Snake Venom

So this has been around for a while now, when I first heard about this I thought no way and dismissed the whole thing but the idea of using snake venom or synthetic snake venom seems not so bad now, and at least a bit exciting.
So what's it all about? well a synthetic snake venom is supposed to have a Botox like effect paralyzing facial muscles eventually resulting in less noticeable wrinkles. All that without the needles great! several brands are offering these products and they're not cheap! but as usual this craze has a big celebrity fan base.

Sonya Dakar UltraLuxe 9 Age Control Complex $185
Formulated using a blend of 9 anti-aging ingredients hence the name, including Syn-Ake the synthetic snake venom benefits are: diminishes appearance of deep facial lines, inhibits the natural aging process and helps reverse signs of aging. Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan of the UltraLuxe line.

Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum, $160
So this also contains Syn-Ake described as a neuro-peptide that mimics the effects of the Temple Viper's potent venom to instantly lift the face, freeze muscles and plump fine lines and wrinkles. Ingredients include Pomegranate for powerful anti-oxidant protection. Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are fans of the serum.

Planet Skincare Anti Aging Daily Moisturizer with Syn-Ake, £60
I saw this on youtube whilst watching Pixiwoo, my favourite gurus! and I was really intrigued this seems to be a good product, it can be used day or night, it's NOT tested on animals and can be used on men or women of any age and skin type.

I would like to try this someday and I would say out of these I would really like to try the Glamoxy Serum or the Planet Moisturizer or maybe both! What about you? would you try this?
