bridge across the water

i've had quite a whirl-wind week and a half. at the end of seattle i went to seattle for a couple days; firstly to see THE DEAD WEATHER perform at the Capitol Hill Block Party (they were awesome); secondly to do some shopping (and shopping i did!). the day after i got back i headed to Penticton with my dad, my stepmom and my brother. Penticton is about 4 hours east of Vancouver, and we spent our 4 days there lying on the beach, eating ice cream, playing mini golf etc etc.. typical family vacation, and it was really fun. after THAT, i went to Victoria with my mom. you can check out one of my outfits below:

leopard print button-down - h&m / black cardigan: the gap, thrifted /
cutoff jeans - thrifted & diy'd / pink flats - joe fresh / sunglasses - aldo / hat - ardenes

Victoria is a really beautiful city, full of old buildings and fascinating neighborhoods you want to wander around in all day. our main purpose of being there was to go on an architectual tour of James Bay, home to a large number of Victorian style homes. makes me want to live in a character house (preferebly Queen Anne style, please) so bad, sit on a porch swing and sip lemonade all day long. hey, you never know what the future will bring...
