Makeup Regrets

When I look back on how much makeup I've bought since I started out I feel a bit guilty on how many things I've bought and thrown away or wasted money on. If you do the math it adds up to a lot! I'm sure I'm not alone here!

1. Too Faced Brow Envy Kit,
I got this from asos.com and I was originally pleased with the packaging, but since I've come to use this regularly I've realised that it's not that great. The kit comes with a pair of tweezers which are small and handy, and brow pencil with a brush on the end, a couple plastic brow stencils, 2 powder brow colors, brow wax and an angled brush. I have to say that the stencils are useless and I haven't even been able to use them once! the shapes are not realistic at all. My angled brush fell apart quite quickly and the whole thing was a disaster my mirror also broke and the pencil also finished very quickly.

2. Clinique Airbrush Concealer,
I got this way back when it was still sold in the green tube, I remember how carried away I was with this because I had never bought anything like it. I also purchased 2 of these concealers, My problem is that it really didn't conceal anything under the eyes, so to me it was kind of a useless step doing my makeup everyday and definitely a waste of money.

3. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara,
I know..I know it's a very popular mascara and I don't know what the problem is. The packaging is cute but somehow it's not " all that" I find that it doesn't make my lashes amazing like other mascaras in terms of volume and it's hard to layer because it seems to clump a lot, also the brush is not so great.

4. Benefit Eye Bright,
I love Benefit so this is hard for me but I really can't stand this pencil. You can use this as a brow highlight, inner corner highlight and on the waterline also. I think that the color is just too stark though so it can give an odd look. But in terms of quality I will say that the texture is really creamy and blendable.

5. Too Faced Flushed Blush,
I don't know what I was thinking when I picked this up at Sephora, I guess I was victim to the cute packaging again! I'll just come out and say it I hate this blush, I don't like the color and it did not apply well, it practically dragged on my face. I wasn't able to blend it out and it came out a bit greasy. I tried to give it chance on a few occasions but it did not work out.
